Separated at Birth?

July 30, 2009

Could it be that even anime’s can be accused of plagiarism? NO WAY!? You might say but just take a look at this…

The girl from the first picture is Kana Minami from the anime Minami-ke. This show first aired October 7th, 2007. The anime is about three sisters: Haruka, Kana and Chiaki, who have an average life. The girls only have each other to depend on and help each other get through everything from love confessions to cooking. Basically just a “normal life” anime. The second picture is of Kooh from the online fantasy golf game Pangya. Kooh is an 11 year old girl who’s
father was a pirate. Notice they look somewhat similar. Pangya Korea, the original game was released in 2004. But lastly.. could the character Nanako Azusa aka Azu-nyan from K-ON only be a copy of Kana or Kooh? K-ON started airing this year, 2009, in late spring. It is questioned as to herexistence. There is too much similarity between Azusa and Kooh, for the big example the Cat ears they both so proudly wear. Another being they are just too darn cute with their long black hair and pigtails! However the manga or illustrated version of K-ON was created in May 2007 O.O… but this still doesnt lead up to the point being because in fact the character structure for Nanako Azusa was a completely different look in the manga then the anime. On the other hand Azu-nyan and Kana Minami’s appearances in the anime are EXTREMELY SIMILAR!!.. examples…

oooh… but here is the big hitter!

COPY MUCH!!!? The picture of Kana is episode 10 of Minami-ke… and Oh wow! The picture of Azusa is from episode 10 of K-ON. That’s even more suspicious. Could Kooh, Kana and Azu-nyan just be twins seperated at birth? Or do these girls have some sort of theft involved in their design creation?… The world may never know.
